Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) applies to eligible products sold by Arrived Aliens LLC (“Arrived Aliens,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and invoiced to the original purchaser.

Coverage period

1 year from the delivery date.

What this warranty covers

Defects in workmanship and functional failure of the internal electrical assembly under normal indoor use, when installed and operated according to the product manual and the conditions below.

Remedies

At our discretion:

  • repair or replacement of the faulty electrical component(s), or
  • replacement of the fixture if repair is not reasonable.

Warranty conditions

Warranty service applies only if all of the following are true:

  • Installation is performed by a qualified electrician and complies with local electrical code.
  • The product is used indoors and within the operating conditions described in the manual.
  • LED bulbs are used and the recommended rating is respected (40W equivalent max per socket).
  • No modifications are made (including rewiring, drilling, altering ceramic, or altering mounting points).
  • Care and cleaning follow the Maintenance instructions.
  • Proof of purchase is provided (invoice/receipt).

Shipping inspection window (transit damage)

Inspect upon delivery and report shipping damage within 48 hours of receipt. Please include your invoice number and clear photos of the outer packaging, inner packaging, and the damage.

Shipping for warranty service

Return shipping to our facility is the buyer’s responsibility, unless otherwise required by law.

Not covered (non-warranty cases)

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Natural raku variation and handmade tolerances (crackle density, carbon patterning, tonal shifts, glaze flow, minor form differences, kiln marks at edges, including small drips or glaze build-up).
  • Cosmetic changes from normal use and handling.
  • Damage from impact, dropping, mishandling, or improper storage.
  • Damage caused by overtightening fasteners or unsuitable anchors / wall substrate.
  • Outdoor use, wet conditions, steam exposure, or persistent condensation.
  • Heat damage from incorrect bulbs, non-LED bulbs, or inappropriate use.
  • Electrical issues caused by incorrect wiring, incompatible dimmers/connectors, or third-party intervention.
  • Any modification, unauthorized repair, or rework.
  • Damage caused by improper installation methods/tools, including using a straight screwdriver at an angle instead of a right-angle driver where required.
  • Shipping damage reported after the 48-hour inspection window.

Handmade nature

Our pieces are handmade, not factory-produced. Variations are expected and inherent: gloss shifts, crackle density, carbon patterning, glaze flow, minor form differences, and kiln marks at edges are normal outcomes of the process. These characteristics are not defects—they are part of what makes each piece one-of-one.
